I believe you work with children as well. You’re probably reading this letter because you care
about the faith relationship between God and the children you usually influence, whether they’re
your own children or children you regularly serve. How would you like to give these children a
sporting chance to live by faith from an early age and make a difference to their world? The Bible
based foundation you lay in the lives of children will help their faith as adults.
A Story of Success and Fruit
In September 2016 the Lord drew my attention to a particular Christian school as I was passing
by. I was intrigued by the setup and, while I was hovering outside the gate taking everything in,
the head teacher approached me, probably wondering who this “prowling” stranger was. After
introduction and explaining who I am and what I was doing there, I used the opportunity to tell
him about our program. He agreed to give the program a try during their weekly assembly. The
reception of the program by teachers and learners was incredible. Every week the children
affectionately welcomed our arrival, took part with great enthusiasm, and warmly showed their
appreciation at the conclusion thereof.
We also received an open door at other schools where we presented the material and the results
were remarkable. When we arrived we were welcomed with great enthusiasm and their response
to the questions was heartwarming. This proves that the children enjoy this program and benefit
from it.
I once questioned the children about the contents of videos which we presented about nine months
earlier and they still remembered the details. To me this was a testimony to the program's efficiency.
The technique we use seems to have the required results.
This is because the technique
1. Keeps it brief.
2. Makes use of video.
3. Uses eye and ear gates by which the information enters the brain.
4. Asks questions after the video with the aim to re-emphasize what
was learned and to test comprehension.
Faith comes through understanding the Word of God as the Holy Spirit reveals it (Romans 10:17). This
is the difference between the written Word and the revealed Word. The written Word (the Bible)
guides people (including children) towards the truth, but when the same written Word is revealed to
the reader or listener by the Holy Spirit, it creates faith. When a person have insight into the truth
that the Bible presents, it's easier to believe in Jesus Christ and not only in His existence. This is
what we believe the Holy Spirit intends with the program we’re about to show you.
I don't know about you, but since early childhood I received a solid knowledge of the Bible, but it was
only as I received revelation in later years, through studying God's Word, that my faith developed.
Would you like to see the children, whom you serve, grow in faith? Can you picture the little believers
entering adult life with life-changing faith because you exposed them to deep insights into the Word
of God? Can you appreciate the life values from God's Word that will be impregnated into their hearts,
distinguishing them from ordinary people?
What are we talking about?
You may be aware of the phenomenon light-heartedly referred to as "square eyes syndrome". Many
people, especially the younger generation, just love watching television and other video material, as
well as playing on their phones. We felt the Lord led us to use this phenomenon to equip children, and
even adults, with insight into God's Word.
The technique we use even makes Bible teaching simple and easily accessible to blind, deaf and
illiterate adults desperately in need of truth to help their faith.
These videos address the following areas:
1. Spiritual insights revealed through the lives of prominent Bible characters.
2. Spiritual insights revealed through certain activities in the Bible.
3. Spiritual insights revealed through statements the Lord made.
4. Relational lessons learned from the interaction between Biblical characters.
5. Relational lessons learned from the interaction between Biblical characters and God. These include
consequences of certain behaviours.
6. Revelation of who God is, without which real faith is not possible. In order to really believe in the
Lord you ought to first know enough about Him.
7. Life values and morals that enhance interpersonal relationships and improve the ability to
successfully interact socially.
The fruit of this video program should include:
1. Mature interpersonal relationships.
2. A stable faith based in the Lord God, which results in a godly life, filled with the fruit of the Holy
Spirit.
